I am a public relations professional, arts administrator, and theatre artist passionate about helping arts organizations tell their stories, build audiences, and connect with their communities.

I currently serve as the Public Relations Associate at The Keegan Theatre, a newly created role focused on streamlining outreach, strengthening press relationships, and expanding the theatre’s reach.

I earned dual degrees in Theatre and Public Relations & Strategic Communications from American University, where I studied PR writing, crisis communication, graphic design, event planning, and more. For my senior PR Capstone, I worked with a team to develop a campaign for Spindrift Cherry’s launch.

I recently founded my own PR company, Elevate Arts, which contracts with local theatres like Adventure Theatre MTC and NextStop Theatre, helping them with press releases, press pitches, outreach, and branding.

I am drawn to public relations because it combines the storytelling and audience awareness I developed as a performer with my desire to help shape how stories are shared. I am especially passionate about theatre communications and increasing the visibility, accessibility, and reach of the arts. I hope to continue working with local theatres and arts organizations to strengthen their press networks, generate meaningful attention, and connect their work with wider audiences. Long-term, I hope to grow into an Artistic Director role, bringing together my experience as an artist, administrator, and communicator.
